In Need of a Sign Off...

I was playing with all these different looks for a signature for the blog.  Something I need but don't really wanna spend a ton of time on.

HELP!


It's so funny the things that are pretty to us, because #3 looks like my best friend's handwriting, and #6 looks like my Mom's.

Which one of the icons do you like? Any suggestions?

So if you frequent my Instagram you all saw my dinner last night.  It was filet of salmon with asparagus & butternut squash.






















There's a trick to all of these.

Salmon
I put a little OJ in the bottom of the pan (keeps it really moist).  Then I season the top of the salmon with herbs de provence, salt & pepper, lemon slices and dill. Roast at 425º for 15 minutes.  PERFECT every time!

Asparagus
Blanche them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then shock in ice water.  1 Tablespoon olive oil in medium heated pan, throw them in; season with herbs de provence, salt & pepper.  Sauté for about 3 minutes.

Butternut Squash
Dice, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.  Toss the squash in olive oil, salt & pepper.  Roast at 425º for 20 minutes. Delish!

All very easy!

This is seriously the best highlighter I have ever used!!  All the beauty blogs I read and subscribe to on YouTube also use it, so it must be a bestseller.  The key for me is the liquidness of it.  It spreads and blends so nicely.  So, this is just something I was out of that I desperately needed.  I can't buy it off the shelf here so, I bought too faced concealer from ULTA, but it just wasn't the same.  When I use the "light Boost" I don't even need a concealer.  I find concealers are too thick.  This product is perfection!

Today's "cardio only day" at the gym.  I'm pretty excited cuz these are the days I get to rock out and zone out.  It's relaxing to not have to think when you exercise.  I've been trying this new thing where I apply fat burning principles to my cardio workout and it makes it go much quicker.  I kinda got the idea from my all of 2 days in spin class.

I alternate machines and do 5 minutes, upping the resistance, in intervals.  It makes it go by SO quick, and I really get my heart rate up.  I start on the elliptical and have a base for 2 minutes, then up it for 1 minute, then up it for another, then up it for one more.  I do this for 15 minutes, then hop on the treadmill, do the same thing, then hop back on the elliptical and do it again.  Before you know it, I'M DONE.  LOVE IT!

Elliptical:
2 minutes @ 10(ramp):1(resistance)
1 minute @ 10:5
1 minute @ 12:5
1 minute @ 14:5

Treadmill
2 minutes @ 1(incline):4(mph)
1 minute @ 1:4.5
1 minute @ 1:5
1 minute @ 1:5.5
X3

Elliptical:
2 minutes @ 10(ramp):1(resistance)
1 minute @ 10:5
1 minute @ 12:5
1 minute @ 14:5
X3

AWESOME WORKOUT!  Obviously if you are at a higher endurance you can play with these numbers but this gives you an idea of how to mix it up.
