Hitching Back onto the Wagon

So, needless to say, I have been off of my "Fitness Journey" now for about as long as I was on it.  I can't say I'm disappointed because it's been lotsa fun and I'm not really a regretter.  However, I probably put back on as much as I lost if not more.  Lesson to everyone out there (and me): that's what happens when you're active and then all of a sudden, you're not.

I digress; so I got back in the game on Monday.

To be completely hones, a lot of my digression had to do with my gym.  I had a problem with them and cancelled my membership and I let it get to me.  As of Monday, I have got a membership at a NEW gym for a lot less a month and have been rejuvenated.  YAY!!

This gym is much larger with a lot more going on, so I am taking it slow and learning everything it has to offer.  Just like at the beginning of the year, I am looking for a lifestyle, not a diet.  I started Monday with 30 minutes of cardio (15 treadmill & 15 elliptical) and yesterday took a BodyFlow class.  This week is all about making it there.

I'm doing some research and am looking to get into a routine next week.  If any of you can suggest a workout regime that you really stick to and love, hit me up.  I'm always looking for something challenging and substantial.

  1. The best advice I have read on this is........"GET UP, GET DRESSED, AND SHOW UP. Hmmmmmm I need to follow this more myself. :0)
